Clean Energy & Green Job Legislation Update
*** Texas 81st Legislative Session on Home Stretch ***

Hello Folks

With less than two weeks remaining, time is running out on clean energy and green job legislation in this session. The good news is that there are approximately 15 of them still in play. And, one of them, SB 546 relating to energy efficiency goals has passed both houses of the legislature.

Look over the status summary below. If there is a bill you are particularly interested in, net metering perhaps, or non-wind renewables, then give your Senator or State Rep a call to tell them how you feel. Remember, in the end, a bill either passes or it doesn't. Close only counts in horseshoes.
